An amplifier used in a feedback system has a nominal open-loop gain of A = 40. In a batch of amplifiers, the variance of the open-loop gain is known to be ±15%. The feedback network used has nominal factor of β = 0.0125. The variance of the feedback factor is ±10%. If we build 500000 versions of the closed-loop circuits using the imperfect amps and the imperfect feedback networks, what are the minimum and maximum values for closed-loop gains that we would expect to see?
