A current transient (or spike) is characterized by the current abruptly jumping from zero to some maximum (peak) value, Imax, and then decaying away exponentially with a decay constant of τ. After a sufficiently long time, the current decays back to zero.

i(t) = Imax·exp(-t/τ)

For a current transient with a peak current of Imax = 70 A and decay constant of τ = 6 ms, determine the total charge that was transported during the spike. How many electrons does that correspond to?
